CARMI – A 14-year-old male juvenile found himself in trouble with Carmi Police after officers responded to two domestic incidents Friday night.

According to Carmi Police, officers responded to a 911 call of an active domestic situation in the 600 block of 6th Street around 7:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they were informed that the juvenile suspect had fled the home prior to officers arriving. Officers were informed that a verbal argument had erupted which ended with the boy placing his 32-year-old aunt in a headlock and then damaging some items before fleeing.

The aunt signed a complaint against the boy for Aggravated Domestic Battery and Disorderly Conduct.
