CARMI – Carmi Police recently received seven reports of Criminal Damage complaints that happened between Friday, Feb. 17 and Monday, Feb. 20.

These complaints consisted of tires being punctured/slashed on vehicles in the area of 7th, Crebs and Herbert.

During this investigation video evidence and surveillance footage was obtained from various locations.

As a result, Carmi Police have identified a 10 and 11 year old male juvenile as suspects in all of the criminal damage reports. Also identified were a 13 and 14 year old male juvenile as witnesses to some of the damages.

Carmi Police continue to sift through various video footage from locations and will be forwarding all reports the White County State’s Attorney for review and charges.
