COLP – A man was cited for drug and other offenses at a recent traffic stop in Williamson County.

According to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office, Bradley L. Orahood was cited for Possession of Methamphetamine, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Driving while License Revoked following a traffic stop just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.

Deputies stopped Orahood after seeing him going west on Herrin Road near Clifford Road in Colp without vehicle registration. Orahood was discovered to have a revoked driver’s license and stated he had a .22 caliber handgun in the vehicle.

While conducting an inventory of the vehicle in preparation for towing, deputies discovered a clear plastic bag containing a white crystal like substance which later field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Orahood was then cited on the offenses we mentioned earlier and taken to the Williamson County Jail.
