WEST FRANKFORT – Construction recently began on a new Starbucks in West Frankfort.

West Frankfort Mayor Tim Arview posted on Facebook that Starbucks plans to be open sometime this fall.

The mayor also said Kroger recently broke ground on its new gas station. No word as to when it will open.
