CARMI – Carmi Police are seeking information regarding a burned vehicle that was reported at 8:50 Saturday night at the City of Carmi Little Wabash Dam.

When police arrived at the scene, they saw the burned vehicle and a second vehicle that was occupied by three male subjects who had located the vehicle at the dam and called police.

The entire vehicle had been burnt. The vehicle’s interior was completely burnt and no paint was left on it. Officers were able to locate an item on the vehicle – a center cap on the front driver’s side wheel – which had Jeep on it. The vehicle appeared to be a Jeep SUV. Due to some wood around the vehicle still being on fire, the Carmi Fire Department was called and requested to the scene.
