MARION – The 3rd Annual “Race for Life” 5K is set for Saturday, April 15, from 3 to 7 p.m. at Ray Fosse Park in Marion.
Cierra Johnson is the CEO and Founder of Fighting Cancer Today, the group putting on the race.
She says this event is one of their biggest annual fundraisers that they do with all proceeds going back into helping families battling cancer with their living expenses and so much more.
The event raised over $11,000 last year. This year’s goal is to raise a minimum of $25,000.
