Mexico Public Safety Department Calls For Service Over Labor Day Weekend

ARRESTS:

Mexico Public Safety Department reports the arrest of 23 year old Cember A. Glynell on Saturday, for an Audrain County Sheriff’s Department warrant.

32 year old Rachel E. Radel was arrested on Saturday for 3 Crawford County warrants and resisting arrest.

28 year old James L. Cune III was arrested for a Boone County warrant.

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service over the Labor Day weekend starting on Friday, September 3rd:

Suspicious activity on East Holt.

Shots fired at 4050 South Clark.

Stealing or thefts on East Central and at 4820 South Clark.

Public Safety responded to the following calls for service on Saturday:

Suspicious activity on North Washington.

A sexual assault at West Breckenridge.

Public Safety went to these calls on Sunday:

Vandalism on East Love.

A suicidal subject on Curtis Street near West Monroe.

A stealing or theft at 4820 South Clark.

A suspicious vehicle at Hardin Park.

A structure fire at the Hassen Apartments.

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls on Labor Day:

Stealing or thefts at 1408 North Clark and at 4820 South Clark.

Indecent behavior at 2813 South Clark.

A runaway juvenile on North Washington.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car accident on Orange Street at Washington on Sunday. According to the accident report it happened around 4:16pm when a 17 year old Mexico girl failed to stop at the stop sign and drove into the lane of travel of vehicle driven by 18 year old Justine James of Mexico. No injuries were reported.

 

A 2 car accident in the 1000 block of West Monroe near Morris on Saturday around 3:17pm. According to the accident report it happened when a vehicle driven by 27 year old Jacklyn J. Hurd of Mexico was traveling behind a vehicle driven by 39 year old Carey L. Knipfel of Mexico. The accident report says Hurd saw a break in traffic and thought Knipfel’s vehicle had already traveled through the intersection when a rear end collision happened. No injuries reported.
