What’s 3 years old, weighs 9 pounds, and only has 1 ear?
This special boy came to Perry County Humane Society from animal control and they quickly figured out something wasn’t quite right — his balance was off, he had trouble getting off and on his perch, and his right ear was looking pretty bad. They took him to the vet, where they learned he had had repeated untreated ear infections and that the best solution was surgery.
He had a total ear ablation (meaning they took the entire ear, canal and all) in May and is doing great! He’s the office cat while he recovers and he is always asking for love and affection. He still has some trouble blinking his right eye, but we’re hopeful that will improve with time. In the meantime, can he come live at your house?
