“This lovely lady is Lacey! She may look like a lady, but she acts like a silly girl! She LOVED being the office cat! She helped us unpack boxes, she offered to taste-test staff lunches, and is frequently found inside her ‘Taco Truck.’ She would love to drive that truck right into your living room. Wouldn’t you love a pretty kitty who loves to play in boxes? Perhaps you could even help her realize her dream, to become a taco truck driver! Lacey was abandoned and left to fend for herself, but is now safe here at the shelter. She is safe, but she has lived at the shelter for a year now. She is about 3 years old and weigh 9 pounds. Lacey is currently in a temporary foster home. In July, our attentive volunteers noticed that Lacey was drinking a LOT of water. A vet visit confirmed our fears — Lacey is diabetic. She now requires one insulin shot per day and restricted food intake. Some recent bloodwork confirmed that her diabetes is under control! We would love to find a more long term foster home for her (a forever home would be even better) as the shelter isn’t the best environment for a diabetic cat. While fostering, all vetting, food, and insulin is covered by PCHS. You provide the love, attention, and shots. Lacey is not a fan of dogs and she can be a bit cat selective. If you can help Lacey by fostering or adopting her (or you have an empty box that needs inspecting), please fill out an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/PCIL-A-17. Adoption fee is $75, and all pets will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. 5/4/22 12:20 AM”

This is KOBE!
He’s a terrier mix available for adoption at Centralia Humane Society.
He is heartworm positive and won’t be able to go home until he is cleared by a vet. In the meantime, look at his photo, meet him in person, and apply to adopt him! Kobe loves people but doesn’t like cats.
