CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police reported Thursday afternoon that missing person Linell Gaston has been found dead.

The 27-year-old Gaston was located by detectives in a wooded area near the 1200 block of South Wall Street during a search that included family, community members, Carbondale City staff and numerous emergency service agencies Thursday.

The investigation into the cause of death is active and ongoing.

No other information will be released at that time.

Gaston was last seen in the 1200 block of South Wall Street on March 25 and had a condition that could place him in danger.
