CARMI – Carmi Police are investigating early Monday morning burglary at Banterra Bank on West Main in Carmi.
According to Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter, around 1:10 a.m., the police department was notified that there was a theft of an ATM at the bank.
Police arrived at the bank and saw a truck with a chain hooked to it. The ATM was pulled over on the concrete parking lot and damaged. The ATM did not have any of the content stolen from it. The vehicle used in the burglary has also been determined to be stolen as well.
