
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – Wind damage was reported from Sunday’s thunderstorms in our area.
According to the National Weather Service in Paducah, law enforcement reported 11 different calls for trees and power lines down in Harrisburg alone. Also in Harrisburg, there was a report of a tree down at the park. Emergency management in Pope County reported a tree down there. In Williamson County, law enforcement reported at least 10 trees were down.
Thunderstorms Friday night in Hamilton County caused limbs to fall on power lines in McLeansboro. Two trees were down on a house in southeast McLeansboro. A family had to be rescued from high water in south Hamilton County due to flash flooding. More widespread water was reported over roadways.
