JOHNSTON CITY – A man wanted by the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office for Criminal Trespass to a Residence was arrested early Friday morning at a home on Adams Street in Johnston City, but he didn’t go quietly and was also cited for a drug offense.
The sheriff’s office says law enforcement successfully found 39-year-old Kevin M. Sides at the home just before 5 a.m. and told him he was under arrest.
Sides was non-compliant and resisted efforts to arrest him. After a brief struggle, Sides was taken into custody without further incident.
While searching Sides he was discovered to have a controlled substance in his possession.
Sides was cited for Possession of Controlled Substance, a class 4 Felony and Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer, a class A Misdemeanor.
He was taken to and lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
