MARION – Childers Orthodontics, has purchased the remaining available tickets for the Thrillville Thrillbillies baseball game in Marion on Monday, July 17. Dr. Kyle Childers announced Friday that they will give the tickets to the public at no cost.
“Every year we hold a party for our patients, and my Team loves to help plan it,” Childers said. “Holding this year’s event at a Thrillbillies game was a no-brainer because they’re such a blast. We knew about other businesses that purchased all the tickets for games so everyone could attend for free. We owe everything to the people of Southern Illinois. Buying the tickets is our way of saying, ‘thank you!’”
Thrillbillies Field Manager, Ralph Santana was floored by Childers Orthodontics’ generosity. “I couldn’t believe it! What a big-hearted thing to do,” Santana said. “They are real community heroes in my book!”
Ticket sales for Thrillbillies’ games have been brisk. So, Santana encourages anyone wanting tickets to visit the Stadium Box Office as soon as possible. “It’s our Mascot Mania themed night,” Santana said. “Ryder the Rabbit has invited his mascot friends to the ballpark. The first 500 Fans get neon sunglasses, plus tickets to Monday’s game are now totally free courtesy of Dr. Childers and his team.”
“The Thrillbillies are making it easy for anyone who wants free tickets,” Childers said. “Just stop by the Stadium in Marion and tell them you want tickets.
