MARION – There will be a “Lawyer in the Library” program on Tuesday, March 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Marion Carnegie Library. It’s located at 206 S. Market St.

According to the program’s event page on Facebook, an attorney will be available for 20 minute, one on one meetings to assist you with legal coaching, document review, referrals to additional community services, e-filing court documents and legal questions.

The program is free and open to the public. There will be no fees. You will need to pre-register at the main floor circulation desk. You should also bring paperwork that relates to your legal matter.

There’s a maximum of one session per person every two months. You are not eligible to participate if you are currently represented by an attorney. You should also live within the First Judicial Circuit of Illinois.
