BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a burglary that took place early Tuesday morning at Payne’s Service Station in Thompsonville.

According to the sheriff’s office, upon arrival deputies discovered that two subjects had forced their way into the business, took cash and left. No further information will be released at this time.
