MARION – The Williamson County Highway Department said Shadow Road remains closed at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing until 3 Monday afternoon for railroad construction.

Shadow Road closed Sunday so work could begin.

Officials said there are no other routes to take around the work zone and residents will have limited access while this work is completed.

The railroad will accommodate emergency services if necessary.
