(IOCI RADIO) – Gov. J.B. Pritzker said “it’s great” to see there may soon be a COVID-19 vaccine for young children.
Moderna is seeking FDA approval for it’s vaccine for children aged six months to five years old. The governor said he’s “pleased” to see progress.
Pritzker said once a vaccine is approved for children, the state will make sure it’s widely available. According to data, 73% of Illinoisans ages five and up are now fully vaccinated.
