SALINE COUNTY – An Equality man died in a single-vehicle crash in Saline County Wednesday night.

According to Illinois State Police (ISP), 71-year-old Larry Grabis was driving his car south on Illinois 142 just north of Willow Lake Road when he left the roadway to the left and traveled through a field before striking a row of trees.

Grabis was pronounced dead at the scene by the Saline County coroner.

ISP said no further information is available at this time.
