SPRINGFIELD – Applying to multiple state universities will be an easier process for students this fall.
In August, all 12 Illinois state universities will use the National Common Application for admissions, allowing students to apply to several colleges at once. Gov. JB Pritzker said three currently use the system.
Many private schools use the Common App as well and Illinois one of the top five states for Common App submissions. Illinois would become one of two states to have all state universities using the app.
