Classic Movies Turned TV Shows

Sometimes but not ALL the time, a movie turned into a TV show can be a pretty good move.

BUT there’s some that you may not know about or maybe not even heard about!

Ultimate Classic Rock has some highlights for us:

“Fast Times”, based on “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”.  It lasted seven episodes.

 

“Delta House”, based on “Animal House”.  It lasted 13 episodes.

 

“Uncle Buck”, based on the movie of the same name.  It lasted one season.

 

“Stir Crazy”, based on the movie of the same name.  It lasted nine episodes.

 

“Serpico”, based on the movie of the same name.  It lasted one season.

 

“Working Girl”, based on the movie of the same name.  It lasted 12 episodes, but four weren’t even aired.

 

“Down and Out in Beverly Hills”, based on the movie of the same name.  It lasted 13 episodes, but only eight of them actually aired.

 

Gung Ho”, based on the movie of the same name.  It lasted nine episodes.

 

“Dirty Dancing”, based on the movie.  It lasted 11 episodes.

 

“Logan’s Run”, based on the movie.  It only lasted 14 episodes.
