Seven Arrests Made After Illegal Drug Search in Rural Centralia

CENTRALIA – Members of the Mt. Vernon Police Department/Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office High Risk Team executed a search warrant for illegal drugs Friday at 3369 East Richview Road in rural Centralia, resulting in multiple arrests.

Seven people were taken into custody during the operation and taken to the Jefferson County Justice Center. Members of the Police Department/Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit assisted by the Southern IL Drug Task Force, responsible for obtaining the search warrant, located and seized evidence inside the residence during their search.

Those arrested include 33-year-old Kyle Fortag, 38-year-old Tami Fortag, 39-year-old Aida Almodovar, and 37-year-old Nicholas Sublett, all of Centralia, 27-year-old Trevor Langford, of Odin, 23-year-old Danton Willis, of Washington, IN, and 36-year-old Shaunta Dick, of Winslow, IN.

All seven were arrested on charges of possessing under 5-grams of methamphetamine and possession of drug equipment. They were all taken to the Jefferson County Jail with bond to be set by a judge on the felony charges.

In a separate operation, 28-year-old Brandon Rogozinski, of Luka was arrested by Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies. He was charged Monday in Jefferson County Court with Class X felony delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine.

Details on his arrest have not yet been released.
