Hundreds of New COVID-19 Cases Reported Over Last Three Days

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Monday reported 8,322 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 in Illinois, including 47 additional deaths. Hundreds were reported across southern Illinois, largely stemming from the past three days.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 664,620 cases, including 11,552 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois.

The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity from Nov. 16–22 is 12.7 percent.
