SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Sunday reported 10,631 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19, including 72 additional deaths. In southern Illinois, Randolph County reported their largest increase in single-day cases to date.
Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 573,616 cases, including 10,742 deaths, in 102 counties statewide.
Local case breakdown:
- Perry County: 52
- Randolph County: 50
- Franklin County: 45
- Williamson County: 32
- White County: seven
- Saline County: six
The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from Nov. 8–14 is 12.8 percent.
