Suspects in Tennessee Murder Arrested in Pope County

SALINE COUNTY – Two suspects in a Tennessee murder are being held in the Saline County jail after their arrests Friday night in Pope County.

According to a release, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation authorites, Illinois State Police and the Saline County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Jeremy Byram and 27-year-old Jeanna Chacon, both of Abilene, TX, in connection to the death of Brian Diss in Savannah, TN.

Investigators found Diss’ body in Savannah Thursday, plus evidence of foul play. Evidence led investigators to Pope County, where Byram and Chacon were taken into custody.

Byram faces first-degree murder and tampering with evidence charges. Chacon faces a count of accessory after the fact. Both are being held without bond as they await extradition to Tennessee.
