Expiration Dates for Illinois Licenses, IDs, Stickers Extended Until Nov. 1

SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Secretary of State’s Office announced Wednesday extending the expiration dates for drivers’ licenses, ID cards, and license plates stickers another month past the last extension date. All licenses, IDs and stickers are now valid until November 1st.

Henry Haupt, Deputy Press Secretary with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office, said with social distancing guidelines and the summer heat, there shouldn’t be pressure to get to a drivers’ services facility right away.

Haupt encouraged residents who can get their business with the office done online to do so at cyberdriveillinois.com.
