HARRISBURG – The Harrisburg School District is looking to provide some closure for the Class of 2020 with a proposed modified graduation ceremony.
Harrisburg Schools Superintendent Mike Gauch said the district can’t make up for everything the seniors have lost due to COVID-19, but hoped the ceremony can be a small token of the school’s appreciation for the senior class.
The ceremony, pending board approval Tuesday, would take place Saturday, May 23 at the Saline County Fairgrounds.
