Cave-in-Rock Ferry Reopens to Public After Waters Recede

CAVE-IN-ROCK – The Cave-in-Rock ferry has reopened to the public.

The ferry opened at 6 a.m. Thursday morning after being closed for almost a week due to high floodwater.

Over the last few days, the Crittenden County, KY Highway Maintenance Crew cleared debris from the flooded section of KY 91 at the Kentucky Landing as the water slowly dropped, helping to expedite efforts to clear the remaining drift from the roadway Thursday morning.
