Legendary musician Sir Elton John hosted the televised Living Room Concert Series on Fox Sunday night, and Alt 2K artists including Billie EIlish and Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong performed in efforts to raise money for Coronavirus relief efforts.
Money raised, of which totals were not immediately available, was in support of Feeding America and the First Responders Children’s Foundation.
In a mix of performances including the likes of Mariah Carey, Sam Smith, Foo FIghters’ Dave Grohl and more, Eilish could be seen alongside her brother FINNEAS acoustically performing her former number one ‘bad guy.’
Elsewhere, Armstrong performed ‘Boulevard of Broken Dreams’ from the comforts of his own living room.
In closing the event, John offered a message of encouragement, “stay safe, cherish your loved ones and when this is all over and done with, I’ll be out there playing for you again.”
