Billie Eilish: First Woman to Sweep the Four Major Grammys Categories

None have had a better year than Billie EIlish in terms of musical achievement, as she capped it off by sweeping the four major categories at Sunday’s 2020 Grammy Awards, the first woman in history to do so and second artist overall (Christopher Cross, 1981).

Eilish, as the Best New Artist, took home Record and Song of the year for “Bad Guy” from the Album of the Year, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Beyond the “Big Four,” the 18-year-old singer received Best Pop Vocal Album, and brother Finneas O’Connell took home Producer of the Year for his role on the winning LP.

Elsewhere, Cage the Elephant notched their second Grammy for Best Rock Album with Social Cues. Likewise, Vampire Weekend also tallied their second win, but once again for Best Alternative Music Album with Father of the Bride.
