Billie Eilish Wrote Theme for New James Bond Installment, Due April 2

Billie Eilish: six Grammy nominations, number one album in 2019, Billboard’s Woman of the Year, just to name a few accolades. Next? The youngest artist ever to write a theme song for the James Bond franchise.

Multiple outlets on social media confirmed Elish’s hand on the theme for the new Bond installment No Time to Die, due April 2, in a collaboration with her brother/producer Finneas O’Connell.

“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way,” Eilish said in a statement. “To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

The 18-year-old superstar first teased the annouced on Instagram Monday night, sharing photos of previous “Bond girls” on her story. She then uploaded a photo of the Bond logo Tuesday morning in confirmation.

No Time to Die, the 25th installment in the series, releases in the United States April 10.
