The 1975’s frontman Matt Healy took to Instagram Live Monday to announce the pushback of the band’s upcoming Notes on a Conditional Form album, now likely to be released April 24.
According to Healy, the new record, originally set for release Feb. 21, is currently in the final stages of final stages of production due to a vinyl record version being created.
“It takes like three months or something to physically make a record on vinyl so it comes out on the 24th of April, I think,” Healy said in the video. “Sorry if that’s annoying or whatever…for the sake of a couple of months, in the grand scheme of things [the delay] doesn’t really make any difference.”
Healy noted later the band will release four more songs from the LP on top of “People” and “Frail State of Mind.”
