A new Snapchat original series focusing on mental health, Everything’s Fine, has tapped Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz to produce and serve as music supervisor.
According to Hollywood Reporter, the series is one of two projects coming to the platform with a focus on the topic, and will focus on a college student living with bipolar disorder, all while attempting a make a name for themselves in the music industry.
Wentz will help create original music for the show. Sean Mills, head of original content, said mental health for Snapchat is “something we think a lot about at the company.”
“We believe in telling great compelling stories with that in mind in different ways,” Mills said. “It’s an issue that our audience cares a lot about.”
The series will premiere on the app’s Discover tab Spring 2020.
