Picture this: Lana Del Rey and The National together on an emotional whirlwind of a song. According to a recent interview, Lana is up for it.
Lana Del Rey sat down with The Times, discussing the release of Norman F****** Rockwell, the state of America, the work already in progress for her next album White Hot Forever, and her enjoyment of The National.
Her mention of the band came from excerpts of the interview, shared on Twitter by the Times writer who spoke with Del Rey, Al Horner.
“Well, I really like the National,” she said. “His voice, I think about it…a lot. Every time a song is playing and I’m like, who’s that? It’s always them.”
Didn’t have room for it in the piece, but I asked LDR who she’d like to collaborate with next. Me too, Lana, me too pic.twitter.com/UzvtgDjpkg
