The Simple Creatures duo of Mark Hoppus and Alex Gaskarth took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon to announce a new song set for release Friday, “Thanks, I Hate It.”

The guys shared a presave link for the upcoming song as a teaser in their respective tweets, their latest work since Gaskarth ran wild with imagination in a sock-puppet video released for “Special.”

No details have been shared on whether the look-alike sock puppets will return in a video for the new track. However, anything is possible with these two.
