Imagine getting away from the bitter cold to a warm music-based getaway in February. Mumford and Sons has announced an opportunity to do so.
The band revealed via Twitter the event Agora Del Mar, a three-day festival February 27-29 at The Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico, also described as “an intimate, all-inclusive tropical concert vacation.” They will headline two nights.
Joining Mumford as their “favorite bands” are Jenny Lewis, Phoebe Bridgers, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Dermot Kennedy, The Tallest Man On Earth, Gill Landry and Kevin Garrett. In the announcement, Mumford said they want to “make up for” not spending time in Mexico.
We’ve not spent enough time in Mexico & we want to make up for it. In Feb 2020, we’re curating @gotrofficial Presents #AgoraDelMar with all our favourite bands. Packages go on sale Aug 22.
