During a live Twitch stream, Panic! at the Disco’s Brendon Urie said he “would love to do music” with Green Day, after responding to a fan’s idea of the two collaborating.
He added Green Day ” had everything to do” with him getting into punk, and talked about meeting frontman Billie Joe Armstrong and the band.
“I had the opportunity to meet him,” Urie said. “I mean, Mike Dirnt is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, as well as Tré. They’re all so kind. And this was at a party where hundreds, maybe thousands of people were in that room — it was just intense. They’re just so personable and very, very nice.”
Perhaps another high-profile collaboration is in the future, considering Urie has experience with artists such as Taylor Swift.
